Abbey and Ryan’s Wedding at Pueblo Bonito, Los Cabos, Mexico

Abbey has a busy life. Between studying medicine, searching for her perfect residency match and banging out that hard-won medical degree, she met the love of her life, and still found time to plan the celebration of all celebrations in sunny Los Cabos. With her June 14 date locked in and the luxurious Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort and Spa confirmed, Abbey and Ryan’s Cabo San Lucas showdown was set to be epic, and what unfolded was simply magic.

Abbey knew she was destined to marry Ryan from the moment they met, and her decisiveness extended to her wedding plans too. With the help of Pueblo Bonito’s Marisol Villalobos, Abbey decided to kick off the festivities with a seaside welcome party, a chance for guests to mingle, sample the resort’s hospitality and revel in Cabo’s beauty. Every bit the star of the show in a fashion-forward, cream crop top, high waisted skirt, and showstopping, diamond drop earrings, Abbey arrived on the arm of her groom, and the couple made quick work of becoming the life of the party. In a shout out to Mexican tradition, a mariachi band played upbeat tunes as guests sipped premium cocktails and snapped selfies against the azure blues of the Pacific Ocean. Amid all the chaos, both bride and groom took a few moments to make their toasts, expressing their excitement for the following day’s nuptials. The evening was about celebrating love, chance meetings and future vows, all of which had the good vibes flowing and genuine excitement in the air.

Champagne corks popped as the sun rose on D day, and Abby and her bevy of bridesmaids set to work on pre-ceremony preparations. Abbey’s color palette centered around nature and neutrals, starting with her girls, who donned Grecian inspired, pastel maxis in true estilo playero. Our bride was radiant in white, and her gown’s transparent skirt with delicate lace detail was set to steal the show. Opting for loose curls and an upswept, messy bun with natural makeup, Abbey was every bit the blushing boho bride. Both bride and groom took a few private moments to share sweet love notes pre-ceremony, and after the arrival of Abbey’s stunning bouquet, wedding planner extraordinaire Marisol announced go time!

The long-awaited nuptials took place in Pueblo Bonito’s quaint courtyard chapel, where white blossoms and whimsical foliage decorated every nook and cranny. Abbey and Ryan’s closest family and friends wiped away tears as they witnessed their union in a ceremony that was short, sweet and oh so personal. As resort staff ushered guests towards cocktail hour fun, we and the very talented Sara Richardson stole the happy couple away for a few moments of uninterrupted shooting. As you all know, we love Cabo’s light, and the evening’s stronger than average winds did nothing to deter from the brilliant afternoon sunset. All in all, this was one bridal portrait session that was sure to put the Cabo in Abbey and Ryan’s wedding album.

The celebration was far from over as the sun set over the Pacific, and in homage to the destination the newlyweds had opted for an intimate, toes-in-the-sand reception. A sparkling ceiling of market lights mirrored the stars as guests dined on local cuisine prepared by Pueblo Bonito’s award-winning banquet staff. Both Abbey and Ryan’s fathers, along with the best man and maid of honor, toasted the newlyweds with funny anecdotes, inspiring advice and more than their fair share of champagne. Ever the trendsetting bride, Abby had chosen a 3 tiered, “naked” cake, and with the formalities taken care of the happy group packed the dance floor for a night of fun, laughter and friendship.

Congratulations Abbey and Ryan on becoming man and wife, and we wish a very long lifetime of happiness.

Until next time,

Beth and Michael’s Wedding at Chileno Bay Resort, Los Cabos, Mexico

Every now and again, we are invited to shoot a celebration that knocks our socks off, one that defies all cliches and throws regularity to the wind. Beth and Michael’s 3-day wedding extravaganza this past May 16/17/18, 2019 did exactly that, incorporating a trifecta of Cabo’s trendiest locations and a host of our most sought after local talent, all intricately spun together by love, friendship, and good, old-fashioned attention to detail. Along with wedding coordinator Claudia Morales and Event Designer Elena Damy, Beth and Michael showed us just what it means to celebrate love in Los Cabos.

Our weekend kicked off at the illustrious Casa Delfin, a luxury villa with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.  Guests were invited to relax, mingle and witness one of Cabo’s stunning sunsets, as they sipped signature cocktails and dined on scrumptious morsels from local caterer Salt and Sugar Co. The casual cocktail mixer jump-started the weekend’s festivities, and the heady anticipation was only heightened by the following evening’s rehearsal dinner at Querencia, an exclusive golfing and residential community that is fast making its mark on the Cabo event scene. Beth was all about the boho vibes in a lacy cocktail number with long floating sleeves, while Michael looked every bit the fun-loving groom-to-be in bright, tropical florals. Showcasing two of our destination’s most sought after event venues and treating guests to first-class food and cocktails had set the bar high, and expectations were electric as the sun set on Beth and Michael’s last evening as soon-to-be newlyweds.

Fast forward to Saturday’s pre-wedding preparations, and yet another Cabo hotspot was being whipped into shape to host the long-awaited nuptials. Chileno Bay clubhouse is located just outside of San Jose del Cabo, nestled on the shores of the breath-taking Sea of Cortez and a home-away-from-home to some of our favorite international celebrities. Local hair and makeup artist Suzanne Morel and her team of experts were on site early to create Beth’s gorgeous wedding look. Her flawless complexion, rosy makeup, and windswept hair complemented her flowing, princess cut skirt with an embellished bodice, and her sparkly, diamond-studded hairpiece was the icing on the cake. The look was part ballroom glamour part whimsical fairy princess. Put simply, just perfect! Michael stepped things up a notch in a dusty pink linen suit and eye-catching bow tie, while the bridal party brought their A game in flowing, floral maxi dresses and dashes of Michael’s signature pink.

Beth’s walk down the aisle was one we are eternally grateful to have captured. It wasn’t just the stunning location, the sweet classical soundtrack (thanks Cabo Strings!) or the beautiful gown, but the look of pure joy that came across Michael’s face as his bride made her entrance. The happy tears flowed among bridal party and guests alike as local minister Gabriel Ruiz delivered a heartfelt ceremony against a stunning backdrop of creamy white florals, towering palm trees and the glistening blues of the Sea of Cortez. What followed was a whirlwind of excitement and celebration. Chileno’s award-winning chefs lavished guests with a cocktail menu full of bite-sized delights, before serving a meal inspired by fresh, local produce. Age was no hindrance to packing the dance floor as the young and young at heart got down, drink in hand, to Smart Music‘s energetic playlist.

A big thank you to the very talented photographer Sami Strong.

Beth and Michael – your wedding was all about the good vibes, and thank you both for allowing us to share it with you.

Until next time.

ANDREA AND GRADY’S LOS CABOS DESTINATION WEDDING AT THE CAPE

Andrea and Grady are living proof that a 12 year age gap is no obstacle when it comes to true love. The down-to-earth couple celebrated their union at The Cape, A Thompson Hotel in Cabo San Lucas this past June, inviting a select bunch of new and old friends to share in their happiness. What resulted was a destination wedding weekend filled with sand, surf and sunshine on the shores of the Sea of Cortez. We were lucky enough to witness their I dos, and hope you enjoy watching their wedding film just as much as we enjoyed creating it.

As wedding day energy bubbled to a fever pitch, Andrea and hair and makeup artist Olga Bustos of Los Cabos Makeup dove headfirst into pre-ceremony preparations. The gorgeous Andrea opted for natural makeup and a classic, half up half down do to compliment her jaw-dropping, Cathedral length veil and Princess cut gown, not to mention the sparkling showstopper on her ring finger! The creative team at Florenta Design delivered a Pinterest worthy bouquet of cottage garden-inspired florals in muted tones and whimsical foliage, while our Groom, on the other side of paradise, chose snazzy blue, crisp white and tan to complete his look. Spirits were high as the champagne corks flew, and before long it was go time.

What better place to vow to love one another forever than overlooking the sparkling Sea of Cortez, a panorama which needs little to no adornment. Along with wedding planner Gaby Cobian of Vivid Occasions, Andrea chose to keep her ceremony setup simple, opting for a geometric style, hexagonal altar adorned with bohemian inspired florals and foliage, which framed the ocean’s natural beauty and delivered a panorama worthy of a magazine spread. After a touching first look on The Cape’s impressive lobby staircase, Andrea and Grady exchanged vows in a sweet symbolic ceremony conducted by a family friend, and then it was time to party.

Vivid Occasions and Florenta Design kept on delivering as we moved through to our reception space, as the perfectly over-the-top Imperial tables embellished with an abundance of backyard florals, delicious accents of ripe seasonal fruit and billowing chiffon runners stole the show. Andrea made a statement dress change, donning a short and sparkly, 1920s inspired number before her first dance. Guests mingled, dined on The Cape’s famously fresh, local produce and sipped cocktails throughout the balmy evening, before an explosive fireworks display and packed dance floor (thank you DJ Mijares!) had them on their feet. This was a group who had traveled to paradise to celebrate love, and they did just that, Cabo style!

A special thanks to the team at The Cape, whose amazing service makes our job all that much easier, as well as photographer Julieta Amezcua and second shooter Allan Carrazco. Thank you Andrea and Grady for choosing us, and congratulations on becoming Mr and Mrs!

HANNAH AND GAVIN’S BOHO BEAUTIFUL WEDDING AT ACRE BAJA, LOS CABOS, MEXICO.

The fabulous, farm to table Acre Baja is fast becoming one of Los Cabos’ hottest destination wedding locations, and as with all hot spots, it’s sometimes easy for the location to overshadow the event. This was NOT the case when it came to Hannah and Gavin’s April’s wedding bash, which incorporated all things fashionable and up-to-the-minute with sweet, personal touches and quirky details that made it very much about our happy couple. Welcome to what we call the wonderful world of Hannah and Gavin.

Hannah has a movie star smile, so let’s start there. Her dress of choice was right off the pages of a Style Me Pretty blog, incorporating all of this season’s boho beautiful design trends into one stunning, white crocheted number with flared sleeves, an exposed back and lots of lace and tassels. Along with her Cathedral length veil, the ensemble was ethereal, perfectly complemented by her relaxed blond waves and barely-there makeup. Backed up by her best girls in shades of peach and orange, Hannah opted for a loose arrangement of tropical leaves and white blooms by Flowers and Events Los Cabos and looked just the right balance of silver screen glam and Baja beach bride. Gavin and his boys went formal in black bow ties, and guests put on their Sunday best in honor of the long-awaited moment.

We love wedding ceremonies, and Gavin and Hannah decided to say “I do” to the sweet melody of the guitar, amongst wildflowers and palm trees, on Acre’s lawn terrace. While we adored the sweet anecdotes, traditional marriage rituals and, of course, the first kiss, it was the look on Gavin’s face as he watched his bride make her entrance that we were ecstatic to capture on camera. Part joy, part awe and a whole lot of love, it was clear Gavin was exactly where he wanted to be. With the formalities taken care of, wedding planner Paola from Cabo in Love guided guests through to what was to be one hell of a party.

Hannah and Gavin consider themselves dance partners for life, and dance they did! To accompany their mouthwatering appetizers and sunset cocktails by the pool, they opted to tip their hats to local tradition, allowing the Mariachi to take care of the tunes. As we moved through to Acre’s Mango Orchard for dinner and dancing, Pura Vida beat took over the stage. Guests were wined and dined on some of Cabo’s freshest food and finest cocktails, before kicking off their shoes and hitting the dancefloor. As the sun set over the desert skyline, our bride and groom relished every moment with their closest family and friends, and we were lucky enough to be entrusted with the memories.

Now for the shoutouts! Proving time and time again just how refined their tastes really are, Hannah and Gavin chose the hugely talented photography duo Chris and Ruth to capture their special day. A very big thank you to Jessica and her team at Acre Baja for their tireless work and dedication. We had a blast!

Veronica and Patrizio’s Wedding at Esperanza Resort, Cabo San Lucas

We thank the cinematography gods day in day out for blessing us with a thriving wedding industry, brilliant sunshine and, well, the perfect conditions in which to do what we do. Wedding after wedding we are swept up in the magic and romance that surrounds our couples, spurring our creative energy and resulting in wedding films we are truly proud to call our own. Veronica and Patrizio’s extraordinary celebration of love was no exception, reminding us of childhood fairytales, warm family reunions and the electrifying excitement of endless possibilities.

This was not the first, but the second time Veronica and Patrizio have tied the knot, first marrying each other a whopping 15 years ago. After a decade and a half of love, laughter, and happiness, they decided to go for it again, inviting a lucky bunch of their nearest and dearest to witness the renewal of their vows in sunny Los Cabos. Contrary to the smaller, elopement-style vow renewals we are accustomed to, V + P decided to go big or go home, kicking things off with a traditional Catholic ceremony at the ornate Mision de San Jose del Cabo Church, nestled in the artistic heart of San Jose del Cabo. Amongst the soaring white ceilings and gilded adornments, SmartMusic’s mariachi welcomed guests with a subdued soundtrack of more traditional string elements, before our bridal party made their long-awaited entrance in shades of barely-there nude, dusty pink and classic grey.  There were tears of joy and more than a few jaws on the floor as Veronica walked the aisle a few moments later, dressed in a stunning mermaid style gown embellished with lace and beading, hair and makeup courtesy of Neysa Berman and Blanc Bridal Salon. As guests dried their eyes, the couple sealed their renewed commitment with a kiss, and it was time to kick the party into full gear.

Back at the world famous Esperanza, An Auberge Resort, guitarist Adan Mijares greeted guests with some of our favorite covers, as the hotel’s waitstaff served bite-sized eats and premium cocktails. Event designer Elena Damy‘s attention to detail was evident from the get-go, with each and every aesthetic outcome considered and planned to perfection. We especially loved the entrance table, which welcomed guests with tiny, red glass hearts personalized with their name and table number, as well as the crisp white dinner tables and lush floral centerpieces. We were treated to an energetic mariachi performance during dinner, the toe tapping and head nodding transitioning quickly into a packed dance floor as DJ Adan Mijares took the decks. With delicious food, bottomless glasses, and first-rate music throughout, V + P’s evening was a heady whirlwind of fun and frivolity. Not a moment of the antics went unrecorded, as the fast-on-his-feet photographer Josafat de la Toba and his team joined us in capturing the madness.

Thank you, Veronica and Patrizio, for renewing your vows with panache. We can’t wait for round three!

Amanda and Brad’s Wedding Film, Los Cabos, Mexico

Small, cozy and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, Cabo Surf Hotel is renowned for its laid back, hippy vibe, and picture-perfect surf break. Its rolling lawns, towering palm trees, and scenic ocean views combine with intimacy to create communal gathering spots perfect for small scale, outdoor gatherings. Olga Bustos of Los Cabos Makeup fame was onsite to take care of our bride and her gorgeous girl’s beauty needs. Olga sculpted Amanda’s glossy locks into a wavy, half up half down do, opting for a smokey eye and dramatic lashes to complete the look. Amanda was helped into her spectacular lace gown and sparkling accessories by her bridesmaids, who looked fabulous in muted tones and flowing silhouettes. After practicing their dance steps once or twice on the bridal suite’s balcony, it was go time!

Los Cabos destination weddings come in all shapes and sizes, from private elopements on the shores of the Pacific to traditional Catholic ceremonies and elegant receptions with hundreds in attendance. Variety is the spice of life, and that variety means we are never bored on the job, but there is always something very special about a small, intimate celebration with only a couple’s closest click in attendance. That’s just what Amanda and Brad chose to do last March, vowing a lifetime of love at the pared back and boho beautiful Cabo Surf Hotel overlooking the Sea of Cortez.

Our love birds heartfelt, toes-in-the-sand ceremony was conducted by the bride’s brother Adam and took place to the sounds of violin and cello on the hotel’s beachfront, before rolling waves, perfect sunshine and an excited gathering of the couple’s favorite people. Wedding planner Martha Lomeli from Amy Abbott events, along with Baja Boutique Rental, Del Cabo Events, and Baja Botanic florists designed a simple, seaside ceremony setup featuring tropical leaves, creamy white lilies and the deep blues of the Sea of Cortez front and center. After the traditional breaking of the glass it was time to get the party started, the music courtesy of Cabo’s own DJ Alex Alanis. Guests dined on fresh local cuisine, sipped fine wines and fruity cocktails, and took many a snapshot at Amanda and Brad’s super fun photo booth, courtesy of Cabo Photo Booth. All in all, one very memorable evening marked by balmy ocean breezes and starry skies.

A special thank you to our partners in crime, Ana and Jerome photographers, whose images we can’t wait to see. Congratulations Amanda and Brad, and thank you for taking us with you on the journey!

Chau and Howard’s Wedding film, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We shoot weddings week in and week out, all over our beloved Los Cabos. From organic farm oases, restaurants and resorts to luxury villa hideaways, Cabo’s offering of wedding-worthy locations is infinite, as are the themes, color selections and decor schemes favored by our destination brides. Put simply, we have seen it all, which is what makes Los Angeles based couple Chau and Howard’s elegant white wedding at Sunset MonaLisa in Cabo San Lucas such a breath of fresh air.

Salon owner and esthetician Chau is a natural beauty and was absolutely glowing as she met her soon to be hubby for super sweet first look pre-ceremony. Her stunning gown was all kinds of perfect, playing on this seasons trend of transparent fabrics and lace. The bridal masterpiece featured a pronounced sweetheart neckline, playful, off the shoulder cap sleeves and a nude underlay, its piece de resistance its translucent, mile-long train. On point and on trend with her dress of choice, Chau took things back to the basics when it came to her hair, opting for a classic, low bun with volume at the crown. Tied together with simple, elegant jewelry and an Instagram worthy pair of sparkly heels, this was one wedding look straight off the runway.

January is about as winter as it gets in Los Cabos, and many a more reserved bride may have opted for a darker decor palette to reflect the season. Chau likes to think outside of the box, and chose white, white and more white when it came to dressing up her chosen wedding location. Her crisp white chuppah and rattan chairs juxtaposed with the myriad blues of the Pacific Ocean and Cabo’s breathtaking azure horizon resulted in a clean and striking ceremony setup that was begging to be blogged. Chau and Howard shared personal vows in a ceremony conducted by the bride’s Uncle, witnessed by a privileged group of the couple’s closest friends and family.

Chau is the epitome of elegance and Howard very debonair, but as the saying goes, “when in Cabo!”. As dinner drew to a close and our couple cut their fabulous white wedding cake, it became clear that this was a group who had come to party. Mood maker and music man DJ Ricardo Patiño was in charge of the tunes, delivering track after track of billboard gold, while bride, groom, and guests left it all on the dance floor. With sparklers sparkling and fireworks firing Chau, Howard and their peeps partied past close, celebrating love, friendship, and family.

A huge shout out to our friends Sara and Ramon, from Sara Richardson Photography, who were onsite to work their magic with us. We couldn’t have done it without you. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Stern – your taste is impeccable and your love palpable. Our heartfelt wishes for a bright and happy future as husband and wife.

Julie and Ryan’s Wedding film at The Resort at Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

The sandy shores and vast desert landscapes of Los Cabos are literally riddled with world-class properties perfect for destination wedding celebrations. From the kick off your shoes casual to black tie and button down a must, the paradise we call home offers the ideal spot for almost every couple who takes the time to look. We have shot them all, and are certainly blessed with variety, but it’s hard to go past the classics. Lovebirds Julie and Ryan seemed to agree, choosing to host their May 20 nuptials at the world-class The Resort at Pedregal, a property that is immersing, exquisite and completely unforgettable.

They say variety is the spice of life, and Cabo has it in spades. Bride after bride, wedding after wedding, we see everything from boho beautiful and toes-in-the-sand casual to high-end “bling bling”. When it came to their wedding attire, Julie and Ryan chose to bring glamour back, and they did it oh so well! Julie, in a long-sleeved, ivory lace gown with a deep V, open back and romantic train, opted for a carefully sculptured updo, created by Suzanne Morel and reminiscent of Old Hollywood. Her gorgeous complexion needed little to no coverage, and her dark, smoky eye and jet black lashes were all things dramatic. Ryan refused to fall behind in a dark grey suit trimmed in black satin, and his bow tie paid homage to both the elegance of their chosen location and the formality of the event.

As ceremony time drew near, guests from all over the United States and as far south as Australia gathered in the hotel’s impressive receiving lobby to witness the magic. Julie and Ryan’s close friend conducted a meaningful ceremony which put their faith at the forefront, as Cabo’s very own Wioletta Poletek provided a moving and classical soundtrack on violin. Framed by the rolling blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and a stunning, rustic chuppah embellished with pale pink, fuchsia, and red bouquets, Julie and Ryan said their I do’s, laughed, cried and smiled. While guests may have been forgiven for thinking they had seen it all, the best was yet to come.

Perched high and cliffside, the resort’s reception location just kept on dazzling. Julie worked with her wedding planners Nubia Villa and Susana Liera to design a reception space that exuded romance and elegance, while still showcasing the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean and its formidable rock formations. Long imperial tables, an abundance of lanterns and lavish touches of pale pink and red flowers against beds of foliage, we felt like we had walked in on a fairytale. Warmth, love, and affection abounded as Julie’s father recounted his first (and subsequent) meetings with the groom, and guests cried with laughter as he gave a shout out to the bride’s “slightly overpriced dress”. Julie’s exquisite taste translated to even the smallest of details, and her towering, 4 tiered buttercream cake was no exception, not to mention THAT RING! As always, a special thanks to DJ extraordinaire Teeven for keeping everyone on the dance floor and Sara Richardson Photography for working alongside our team to capture every single minute of the madness!

Julie and Ryan – congratulations on creating a wedding event full of love, enveloped in elegance and ever so glam! We wish you many many years of happiness and hope to see you again in Cabo very soon!

Julie and Brenden’s Luxurious Destination Wedding at The Resort at Pedregal, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Animal lover Julie and her beau Brenden decided to kick off their end of year celebrations early in 2018 by inviting a rowdy bunch of their nearest and dearest to sunny Cabo San Lucas to celebrate their December 1st nuptials. Along with wedding planners Susana Liera and Nubia Villa, they designed a destination wedding weekend worthy of many a shout out, and to be honest there is far too much for us to cover in just one blog post. We will let you watch and be amazed, but there are a few things we simply must mention first!

Julie and Brenden’s location choice was on the money, the first of a series of touchdowns during their wedding planning process. Frequented by many a Hollywood A-lister, international sports star and globe-trotting business exec, The Resort at Pedregal is considered one of Los Cabos’ premier wedding locations. Nestled in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas and opening its back door onto the picture perfect shores of the Pacific Ocean, the resort is renowned for its superior service, immaculate grounds, and complete privacy. Julie kicked things off in a cool and casual getting ready session, sipping champagne with her besties who looked on point in navy blue, figure-hugging gowns. Brenden chose a 3 piece navy blue suit and tie, while his groomsmen took things down a notch in light grey ensembles which were both casual and classy. The star of the show was our bride, whose lace bodice gown with sweetheart neckline and full, princess cut skirt was nothing short of a showstopper. Julie entrusted Suzanne Morel Face and Body Care with her hair and makeup, opting for a loose, side-swept bun and barely-there makeup to complete her look.

Our ceremony took place in the resort’s main lobby, overlooking a crystal clear infinity pool and the panoramic beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Two gorgeous and very excited flower girls lead the processional, and the couple’s personal vows were sweet, sincere and original. Cabo Foral Studio decked out the already glamorous location with an abundance of cream roses and romantic foliage, in collaboration with Linens, Things and More, and both were sure to keep the properties natural beauty at the forefront. With the formalities done and dusted, this fun-loving bunch of partygoers needed no encouragement to get the party started.

Julie and Brenden wanted family and friends to be wined and dined on the finest produce Los Cabos has to offer, and The Resort at Pedregal is second to none when it comes to pleasing their guests. Champagne flowed throughout the evening, and the scrumptious plated dinner was interspersed with heartwarming toasts from our couple’s loved ones. Kilometro band, with Lucas Barron on vocals and his brother Leif backing him up on drums, took care of the tunes as the sky lit up with a spectacular display of fireworks to draw the evening to a close.

Thank you Julie and Brenden for letting us capture your moment, and we wish you many a happy anniversary to come! Another special thank you to Justine Boulin and Josafat de la Toba, whose photography is truly a work of art.

Tara and Justin’s Destination Wedding at Sunset Da Mona Lisa, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

TARA AND JUSTIN’S LOS CABOS DESTINATION WEDDING AT SUNSET DA MONA LISA, CABO SAN LUCAS, MEXICO

On an uncharacteristically windy Saturday in November, Tara and Justin said I do in an extravagant destination wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico, and we went along for the ride! Tara chose Cabo’s wedding planner, Tammy Wolff of Cabo Wedding Services, to help her with the details, and Tammy’s inside knowledge of all things wedding lead her straight to Sunset MonaLisa restaurant, an Italian fusion extravaganza nestled high on the cliffs overlooking Misiones Beach. With panoramic views to the famous Cabo San Lucas arch and Land’s End, as well as 5 star dining and exquisite service, it was love at first sight for Tara and Justin, who quickly signed on the dotted line. After months of careful planning our calendars announced November, and it was go time!

Conscious of the time and money their loved ones had invested in traveling to Cabo, Tara and Justin wanted to kick things off with a relaxed, casual and oh so Cabo welcome event aboard Cabo Wave, a luxury dinner/sunset cruise that departs from the picture perfect Cabo San Lucas marina. Cervezas, Mai Tais, Margaritas and Piña Coladas, as well as a scrumptious buffet of traditional Mexican dishes, this was the perfect introduction to Cabo for newcomers and a very big welcome back for seasoned travelers. Tara and Justin took advantage of the 2 hour long cruise and gorgeous Cabo sunset to mingle with their guests, before getting an early night in preparation for the big day.

Back at the beautiful Hyatt Ziva in San Jose del Cabo, Tara and Justin’s home base for the weekend, it was a revolving door or Cabo’s finest wedding service providers. In charge of making sure Tara looked her radiant best was Blanc Bridal Salon, who created a dramatic smokey eye and relaxed down do to complement Tara’s off the shoulder, ivory gown and dreamy, Cathedral length veil. Tara and Justin’s sweet first look took place onsite at Sunset MonaLisa, with Land’s End framing our shots, and award winning photographer Sara Richardson joined us to capture the moment.

Tammy Wolff’s weddings are famous for their careful attention to design and detail, and she didn’t disappoint when it came to dressing up this wedding location. Along with The Cabo Wedding Co and Cabo Flowers and Cakes, Tammy created a clean and classic reception space, utilizing low, pale pink and cream centerpieces in gold bases and an abundance of market lights to create her trademark romantic effect. When it came time to let their hair down, Tara and Justin had decided to go big or go home, and hired not only Cabo’s premier party starters Deja Vu band, but also DJ Alex to keep their guests on the dance floor. As if their list of top notch entertainers wasn’t enough, Tara and Justin lit up the Cabo skyline in a spectacular display of fireworks to seal the deal.

Congratulations Tara and Justin and a big thank you to Cabo Wedding Services for your trust in Cinematic Touch. It’s always a pleasure!
