Thuy and Haakon

Thuy had 2 single things in mind she was completely sure about her film.  The first one was having us until the very end so we can capture the wishes lanterns.  And for the second one she told me, she was very sensitive, and she would cry all day long so… She asked us trying making a fun video, blending overwhelmed and fun moments in one since she was sure it would be a crazy night for them and their friends.  She were right in both matters.  She did cry all the long AND the wedding was super fun as well!

Maybellene and Fernando

I am always giving the credit of Reverend Marco Arechiga in all the weddings we work together, but I have never said how he floods the wedding with personality and charism!  Marco has the ability of making all the audience laugh out loud, and suddenly put everybody to tear a minute later!  It is a true joy when couples tell me Marco will be the minister of the wedding!  I am sure Maybellene and Fernando agree with me on this!

Capella Pedregal was the venue, and Karla Casillas’s team the wedding coordinators.  Also, I had the pleasure of knowing an amazing photographer from San Francisco, Ed Pingol, who all the time had the kindness of asking us if we were getting the shots…  I truly appreciate when photographers work as a team with us!

As usual, thank you to my second shooter Natanael Heraldez and his brother Amilcar from Hera Pro.  Always a privilege having them!

Anything can’t go wrong with this kind of team!

Cassie and Garrett

Cassie and Garrett’s wedding had a special meaning to us.  This is the reason,

In 2011 we had the privilege to film Sherry and Kirk’s wedding.  You can check their film clicking here.  It was here where we met the daughter of the groom Cassie, and her boyfriend Garrett…  Guess what happened 2 years later!  ;)

I knew about Cassie again through Facebook to ask me if I would be willing to travel to Naples, Florida to capture their wedding since she loves her dad’s wedding film.  I couldn’t be happier with her little message glowing in my screen.  Of course I said yes, and we were honored one more time of working with the family for the second time, and living this special adventure out of Cabo for a change!

I have said before, we sometimes feel part of our couples family in a certain way since we are witnessing and capturing of one of the most special days of any person life!  With this family the feeling is double!  It was a real pleasure seeing all of them again…

Carly and Adam

This destination has the peculiarity of being house of people from all over the world.  It is difficult to find someone born and raised in this land…  I like to hear stories from people who one day decided Cabo will be their home.  The storyteller inside me imagines all this anecdotes as adventure movies, and sometimes the movie is a romantic one!

Carly is a sweet Canadian girl that has been living in Cabo for several years.  Adam is an easygoing australian leaving in Cabo since 2010.  One day, boy meets girl (in beautiful Los Cabos, Mexico ;) ) and today they are husband and wife!

So, Carly and Adam’s wedding was a truly international one.  People from, Canada, Australia, United States, and Mexico helped to build a lovely happy ending for this story.

Shannon and Morgan

Part of this job is always trying to think and make things different.  We need to find creative methods to express feelings and tell your history in the best way.  This time, we thought high… literally!  We offer to Shannon and Morgan having an helicopter to make some aerial shots for the processional and photo session.  They fortunately accepted the offer, and we cannot be happier with the result!

The Gangnam style during the party was planned by then!  We are not responsable for that part! ;)

Beth and Joey

We met for the fist time with Bethany and Joey more than a year before their wedding.  Since this meeting we could tell the kindness and sweetness of this 2 amazing persons!  You can tell in the video since the very first second this quality of them, not to mention, they are completely in love.  You can tell this other quality also in the video, and being convinced about it before the first minute ;)

Alexandra and Mike

It has been a while since I published my last video.  Today I have three!

The first one is Alexandra an Mike.  This couple got married last October 20th 2012 at Cabo del Sol.  It was an overwhelming ceremony.  Really hard not to break when you hear their vows.

With a day full of butterflies all over (wich is strange  to see here in Cabo) everything turned out just perfect!

Somebody on Facebook told me that was watching Chris and Armando Highlights and crying even when she cannot understand any spanish at all… isn´t this great?  This couple was really excited during the whole day, and I took this comment as a proof they could transmit this excitement in the film.

It is always a pleasure working at Barceló.  Besides all the beautiful spots we can find there that are great for photo and video, there is something about this place that I simply love!

Once again reverend Marco Arechiga gave us great material to work with and make Ophelia and Mike´s video just as lovely as them!
