Vania and Richard’s Wedding Film at Sunset da Mona Lisa, Los Cabos

We love watching master wedding planners at work, and Cabo Wedding Services superstar owner Tammy Wolff is the best of the best. When Vania wed Richard this past July, Tammy knocked it out of the park, uniting one of Cabo’s most impressive cliffside locations with a team of first-class vendors to deliver an Instagram worthy celebration that had us filming well past the allotted hour. Sugary blossoms, pastel sunsets, and mouthwatering food set the stage for our couple’s I dos, but it was their intimate connection that lit up the screen. This wedding film is one we have been jumping at the bit to share with you.

True to any awesomely constructed wedding timeline, our morning kicked off with the bride. We arrived early to our couple’s host resort Sheraton Hacienda del Mar to find Vania gorgeous and glowing. Her stunning gown featured an intricate lace bodice, Grecian silhouette, and modest train. Relaxed waves framed rosy makeup to create a look that was fresh, fabulous and perfect for a seaside affair. Our first look took place in the resort’s gardens, a carefully constructed moment that allowed us to capture our couple’s first impressions away from prying eyes.

As the sun began its slow descent over the sparkling Sea of Cortez, guests boarded private transportation towards the much loved Sunset MonaLisa at Misiones Beach, just outside of the Cabo San Lucas downtown. Guests were ushered through the property’s main entrance and met with awe-inspiring, panoramic views of Land’s End, an impressive site for Cabo veterans and newcomers alike. Vania and Richard’s ceremony space kept the landscape front and center, decorated with simple, gold Chiavari chairs and an arch sprouting pale pink, lavender, and white blossoms thanks to the talented team at Cabo Flowers and Cakes. In a short, sweet ceremony delivered by a family friend, Vania and Richard shared personalized vows and a first kiss just as the colors of sunset appeared on the horizon. It was one WOW moment in the bag and many more to come!

Sunset MonaLisa’s staff are famous for their fresh, locally sourced drinks and apps, which they served with their customary casualness on one of the property’s waterfront terraces. Guests were wined, dined and provided with the perfect opportunity to snap selfless and admire the views. Located nearby, our reception terrace had been decked out to mirror the ceremony’s pared-back elegance, utilizing clean, white linens with a lustrous sheen, gold chairs, and sparkling crystal. After a scrumptious sit-down dinner, formal toasts and other traditional favorites (Cakes by Donna in Cabo you are amazing!), itchy feet were dancing thanks to Dj Adan Mijares and his legendary beats. Beneath stars and market lights Vania, Richard, and their closest crew shared a night to remember.

Thank you Josafat de la Toba for accompanying us on the lenses. Your photography is inspiring and never ceases to amaze us. To our friends, Tammy and Jessica at Cabo Wedding Services, thank you for trusting in Cinematic touch. And last but not least, Richard and Vania – may this video be seen and reseen throughout many happy years together.

Until next time,

Abbey and Ryan’s Wedding at Pueblo Bonito, Los Cabos, Mexico

Abbey has a busy life. Between studying medicine, searching for her perfect residency match and banging out that hard-won medical degree, she met the love of her life, and still found time to plan the celebration of all celebrations in sunny Los Cabos. With her June 14 date locked in and the luxurious Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort and Spa confirmed, Abbey and Ryan’s Cabo San Lucas showdown was set to be epic, and what unfolded was simply magic.

Abbey knew she was destined to marry Ryan from the moment they met, and her decisiveness extended to her wedding plans too. With the help of Pueblo Bonito’s Marisol Villalobos, Abbey decided to kick off the festivities with a seaside welcome party, a chance for guests to mingle, sample the resort’s hospitality and revel in Cabo’s beauty. Every bit the star of the show in a fashion-forward, cream crop top, high waisted skirt, and showstopping, diamond drop earrings, Abbey arrived on the arm of her groom, and the couple made quick work of becoming the life of the party. In a shout out to Mexican tradition, a mariachi band played upbeat tunes as guests sipped premium cocktails and snapped selfies against the azure blues of the Pacific Ocean. Amid all the chaos, both bride and groom took a few moments to make their toasts, expressing their excitement for the following day’s nuptials. The evening was about celebrating love, chance meetings and future vows, all of which had the good vibes flowing and genuine excitement in the air.

Champagne corks popped as the sun rose on D day, and Abby and her bevy of bridesmaids set to work on pre-ceremony preparations. Abbey’s color palette centered around nature and neutrals, starting with her girls, who donned Grecian inspired, pastel maxis in true estilo playero. Our bride was radiant in white, and her gown’s transparent skirt with delicate lace detail was set to steal the show. Opting for loose curls and an upswept, messy bun with natural makeup, Abbey was every bit the blushing boho bride. Both bride and groom took a few private moments to share sweet love notes pre-ceremony, and after the arrival of Abbey’s stunning bouquet, wedding planner extraordinaire Marisol announced go time!

The long-awaited nuptials took place in Pueblo Bonito’s quaint courtyard chapel, where white blossoms and whimsical foliage decorated every nook and cranny. Abbey and Ryan’s closest family and friends wiped away tears as they witnessed their union in a ceremony that was short, sweet and oh so personal. As resort staff ushered guests towards cocktail hour fun, we and the very talented Sara Richardson stole the happy couple away for a few moments of uninterrupted shooting. As you all know, we love Cabo’s light, and the evening’s stronger than average winds did nothing to deter from the brilliant afternoon sunset. All in all, this was one bridal portrait session that was sure to put the Cabo in Abbey and Ryan’s wedding album.

The celebration was far from over as the sun set over the Pacific, and in homage to the destination the newlyweds had opted for an intimate, toes-in-the-sand reception. A sparkling ceiling of market lights mirrored the stars as guests dined on local cuisine prepared by Pueblo Bonito’s award-winning banquet staff. Both Abbey and Ryan’s fathers, along with the best man and maid of honor, toasted the newlyweds with funny anecdotes, inspiring advice and more than their fair share of champagne. Ever the trendsetting bride, Abby had chosen a 3 tiered, “naked” cake, and with the formalities taken care of the happy group packed the dance floor for a night of fun, laughter and friendship.

Congratulations Abbey and Ryan on becoming man and wife, and we wish a very long lifetime of happiness.

Until next time,
